an excellent Locum Family Medicine Physician opportunity in Orangeburg, South Carolina. This role is ideal for an experienced Family Medicine physician who enjoys teaching while maintaining an active outpatient practice.
Job Responsibilities
Provide clinical education, mentorship, and oversight to resident physicians.
See outpatient Family Medicine patients when not supervising four or more residents.
Deliver comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages (birth through geriatrics).
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Maintain timely and accurate patient documentation within the EMR.
Collaborate with faculty, residents, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Qualifications
Board Certified in Family Medicine (Required).
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience supervising Family Medicine residents.
Family Medicine physician only (Internal Medicine candidates will not be considered).
Comfortable supervising residents while maintaining an outpatient clinical practice.
Working Hours
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch
Call: None
Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine Clinic with Resident Supervision
