Family Medicine Physician Opportunity – Albuquerque, NM

Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
Perform physical examinations and health assessments
Provide preventive care and health maintenance services
Manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and other common medical concerns
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthy lifestyle choices
Coordinate specialty referrals and continuity of care
Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
Participate in team meetings, quality initiatives, and clinical improvement activities
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Current unrestricted medical license or eligibility to obtain New Mexico licensure
Current DEA registration
BLS and ACLS certification
Experience providing primary care services
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC)
Community health or safety-net healthcare experience
Experience caring for underserved populations
Experience with integrated behavioral health models
Interest in population health and value-based care
