Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday
Compensation: $200,000–$250,000 annually

Health Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Physician to provide comprehensive ambulatory care in an established community health setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys delivering meaningful, high-quality care while collaborating with an experienced clinical team and supporting important public health initiatives.

The Physician will provide care to a diverse patient population and work closely with the Medical Director, clinical staff, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare resources to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referrals.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions while emphasizing preventive care and patient education.
• Provide a full range of ambulatory medical services for Family Medicine, adult, or pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and clinical team to establish and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Develop professional relationships with hospitals, specialists, clinics, and other advanced healthcare resources to ensure appropriate continuity and follow-up care.
• Provide follow-on inpatient care when appropriate through established hospital and specialty-care linkages.
• Assist with the development of clinical policies, procedures, and programs related to ambulatory and inpatient care.
• Participate in applicable Public Health Service initiatives and healthcare programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of patient care and organizational needs.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active Alabama medical license or eligibility to obtain Alabama licensure.
• Board certification is not required.
• Completion of at least one year of internship training.
• At least one year of ambulatory healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or general outpatient primary care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
