Physician Medical Director – Flexible Clinical Leadership Opportunity
We are expanding our national physician network and seeking experienced licensed physicians interested in flexible Medical Director and clinical oversight opportunities.
These engagements are designed for physicians who want to leverage their clinical expertise through leadership, quality oversight, compliance support, and healthcare governance responsibilities without traditional employment requirements or ongoing direct patient care responsibilities.
Each opportunity is customized through a formal agreement outlining responsibilities, expectations, and compensation.
Position Responsibilities May Include:
- Serve as Medical Director providing clinical and administrative oversight
- Review and support clinical protocols, policies, and scope-of-practice alignment
- Perform scheduled chart reviews and documentation assessments
- Support healthcare compliance and regulatory initiatives
- Participate in leadership discussions and quality improvement activities
- Provide oversight and guidance for advanced practice provider (NP/PA)-led care models when applicable
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote quality, safety, and evidence-based care standards

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
Active, unrestricted physician license (MD or DO)
Licensed in one or more of the following states preferred:
California
Georgia
New Jersey
Alabama
Colorado
Louisiana
Nevada
South Carolina
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, clinical quality, and regulatory standards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work within structured professional agreements
Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care quality
Preferred Qualifications:
Board Certification
Previous Medical Director experience
Physician leadership experience
Experience overseeing NP/PA providers
Experience with chart review, quality improvement, or clinical documentation review
