Job description
We are seeking a full-time Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a community health center in Elma, Washington. This is a fast-paced outpatient ambulatory setting serving a diverse community, including migrants and refugees, with interpretation services available onsite. Please see below for more information.
- Community health center; outpatient ambulatory family medicine, walk-in/acute care, and chronic disease management
- All-ages patient population (newborns to geriatrics)
- Scheduled up to 21 patients per day; comfortable with higher volume and fast pace
- Basic bread-and-butter procedures: injections, IUD placement, minor wound care
- Dedicated medical assistant per provider plus support team
- Epic EMR; Spanish or Russian speakers a plus
Job Responsibilities
- See up to 21 patients per day in a fast-paced setting
- Care for all ages, from newborns to geriatrics
- Perform basic procedures: injections, IUD placement, minor wound care
- Serve vulnerable populations with onsite interpretation support
Qualifications
- MD or DO (new grads considered for MD positions with clean background)
- Active Washington state license and DEA required
- BLS required
- Minimum 1 year of experience; Spanish or Russian a plus
- Must be COVID and flu vaccinated
