Job description
We are seeking a full-time Family Practice physician for a locum tenens position in Ocean Shores, Washington. This is an outpatient community health center role serving all ages. Please see below for more information.
- Community Health Center (outpatient ambulatory)
- Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hrs/week), 1 hour unpaid lunch, no call
- All ages: newborns through geriatrics
- Up to 21 patients per day; fast-paced, higher volume environment
- Family medicine, walk-in/acute care, chronic disease management
- Basic procedures: injections, IUD placement, minor wound care
- Spanish speaking required
- Dedicated MA per provider; interpretive services available
- Epic EMR
- 3 month contract (13 weeks), possibility to extend
Job Responsibilities
- Manage chronic disease and same-day walk-in patients
- Perform basic procedures (injections, IUD placement, minor wound care)
- See up to 21 patients per day in a fast-paced setting
- Work with vulnerable populations at a community health center
Qualifications
- Active Washington license and Washington DEA required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Spanish speaking required
- Minimum 2 years of experience (new grad MDs may be considered)
- Clean background; no malpractice considered
- Epic EMR experience required
