A nonprofit Critical Access Hospital in Colorado is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to join a growing primary care team.

Practice Highlights:
- Monday–Friday schedule with flexible options
- Choice of traditional 5-day schedule or 4x10 schedule
- Average patient volume of approximately 12–13 patients per day

Scope of Practice:
Provide comprehensive Family Medicine services including:
- Outpatient primary care
- Inpatient rounding
- Preventive medicine
- Chronic disease management
- Acute care
- Pediatrics
- Adult medicine
- Geriatrics
- Women's health
- Care coordination and patient education
Leadership Opportunity:
This position provides a long-term pathway toward a future Medical Director role for physicians interested in:

Job Responsibilities
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform preventive care and health maintenance visits
Provide inpatient rounding responsibilities
Participate in low-volume call coverage
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and administration
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Build strong relationships with patients and the local community
Support future leadership initiatives within the organization
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
Active DEA license or ability to obtain
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred:
Rural health or Critical Access Hospital experience
Spanish/English bilingual skills
Leadership experience or interest in physician leadership
Full-spectrum Family Medicine background
Interest in long-term community involvement
Working Hours
Schedule options:
Traditional 5-day workweek
OR
Four-day schedule (4x10)
Call:
Approximately 1 week every 3 weeks
