Job description
We are seeking a Primary Care / Family Practice physician for a locum tenens position in Port Townsend, Washington, at a critical access hospital. This is an outpatient primary care role (no call) with family practice, women’s health, and pediatric scope. IMLC accepted. Please see below for more information.
- Critical access hospital (Jefferson Healthcare Hospital / Sheridan Primary Care)
- Outpatient primary care with family practice, women’s health, and pediatric scope
- Patient volume 18+ per day; supportive team culture
- Clinic staffing model: panel share, MA, RN
- No call
- Epic EMR; housing and travel covered by client
- 2 open positions
Job Responsibilities
• Care for infants, pediatrics, and adults
• Support women’s health including education and support (not performing D&Cs)
• See 18+ patients per day
• No call required
Qualifications
• Active Washington license required (IMLC accepted)
• DEA and WA CSR required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Must have a lean background to expedite credentialing
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days ideal (can move faster)
