Job description
Primary Care Physician (IM or FM Trained) needed for full-time locums coverage starting in October or November 2026 for 6 - 9 months. Ambulatory primary care practice - seeing patients for acute and chronic conditions, annual wellness visits, post-hospitalization follow-up and anything that is primary care related such as in-basket management of refills, advice requests, testing follow-ups, results and referrals.
Job Responsibilities
Setting - Outpatient
Size of Practice - 4 Total Practices with 12 Physicians and 15 Advanced Practitioners
Patients Per Day - At-least 16 per day
Qualifications
Active Maine State License or Active IMLC Compact License
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Epic Experience
NPDB Self-Query within 30 Days of Presentation
Working Hours
30 minute unpaid lunch
Call - None
Weekends - None
