Family Medicine Physician Opportunity – Future Medical Director Track
A nonprofit Critical Access Hospital in rural Colorado is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to join a growing healthcare team.

Job Responsibilities
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform preventive care and health maintenance services
Provide outpatient primary care and inpatient rounding
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Support patient education and relationship-based medicine
Collaborate with clinical staff and contribute to future practice growth
Mentor providers and participate in leadership initiatives as the role develops
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
Ability to obtain DEA registration
BLS and ACLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for community-based healthcare
Preferred:
Rural or Critical Access Hospital experience
Full-spectrum Family Medicine experience
Leadership interest
Spanish/English bilingual skills
Interest in long-term community involvement
Working Hours
Schedule options:
Traditional 5-day workweek
OR
4x10 schedule
Call:
Approximately one week every third week
