Locums-to-Perm | Family Medicine | Outpatient Clinic | Caribou, ME (Any state license accepted)
I wanted to share a full-time Family Medicine locums-to-permanent assignment in the Caribou and Fort Fairfield, Maine area. Details are below:

Assignment Details
* Start Date: October 12, 2026
* Initial End Date: January 1, 2027
* Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
* Practice Setting: Outpatient and telehealth
* Schedule: Monday-Friday
* Primary Care Schedule: Three days per week
* Women's Health Schedule: Two days per week
* Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
* Tuesday Hours: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
* Women's Health Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
* Patient Volume: Approximately 22 patients per shift
* EMR: Cerner
* Support Staff: 2 MAs and 4 office staff
* Office notes must be completed by the end of each day
Requirements
* Any state license accepted
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
* BLS
* Minimum of 3 years of post-training experience
* Women's health primary care experience
* Comfortable working independently
* Clean history

* Well-woman examinations
* IUD insertion and removal
* Preventive care
* Chronic disease management
* Referral of advanced gynecologic procedures to an OB/GYN practice
