Primary Care Physician

Join WCS Healthcare Partners, a nation-wide primary care organization focused on providing exceptional care to the geriatric population. We are seeking a dedicated physician to join our team in Brooklyn. This is a full-time, permanent position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care to the geriatric population
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MDs, APPs, Scribes, MAs, and shared RN/Social Work support
• Utilize telemedicine partnerships for specialty support
• Leverage the EPIC EMR system to optimize patient care
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, averaging 1 week every 3 months

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• No nights or weekends required
• 12-16 patients per day once fully ramped up

Patient Population

• Primarily Medicare patients (over age 65)
• Up to 25% Medicaid patients under age 65 at some sites

On-Call Schedule

• Rotated amongst the NY market
• On average, 1 week every 3 months
• 100% remote with limited calls due to a triage call center

Requirements

• Board Certification Required
• NY State License Required
• Training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
• Previous primary care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required
