Primary Care Physician

Join a nation-wide primary care organization focused on providing exceptional care to the geriatric population. We are seeking dedicated professionals for our locations in Providence and Warwick.

Function

• Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (no nights or weekends)
• Patient load: 12-16 patients per day once fully ramped up
• Patient demographic: Primarily Medicare (over age 65) with some Medicaid (up to 25% under age 65)
• Collaborative care team includes MD, APP, Scribe, MA, and shared RN/Social Work support
• Specialty support via telemedicine partnerships
• Utilize EPIC EMR system with scribe support and advanced algorithms for patient care
• Call schedule: Rotated among NY market, on average 1 week every 3 months, 100% remote

Position Details

• Full-time permanent position
• 4-6 week orientation/training period

Requirements

• Board Certification Required
• RI State License Required
• Residency Training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Required
• Fellowship in Geriatrics preferred
• Previous primary care or skilled nursing facility/nursing home experience preferred, but not required
• No new graduates
