Family Medicine Faculty Opportunity in Phoenix, AZ
Position Overview:
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine physician to join an established 8-8-8 Family Medicine Residency Program as Core Faculty. This full-spectrum academic position includes inpatient and outpatient clinical care, resident and medical student education, curriculum development, and leadership responsibilities within an ACGME-accredited residency program.
Practice Details:
Full-time employed faculty position
Full-spectrum Family Medicine including inpatient and outpatient care
Supervise Family Medicine residents and medical students
Continuity clinic at an FQHC
Inpatient attending responsibilities
Night and weekend call required
Leadership and academic development opportunities
Clinical & Academic Responsibilities:
Provide direct outpatient and inpatient Family Medicine care
Supervise residents during clinic and inpatient rotations
Deliver resident and medical student didactic lectures
Participate in curriculum development
Mentor residents and medical students
Participate in scholarly activities and research
Serve on residency and institutional committees
Participate in quality improvement and peer review initiatives
Maintain compliance with ACGME educational standards

Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Arizona medical license (or eligibility)
DEA registration
