🚨 Locums Family Practice NP/PA Opportunity | Northern California 🌲
We're partnering with a respected FQHC in Northern California to find an experienced Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (preferred) or Physician Assistant for a long-term locums opportunity serving an underserved community.

Position Highlights
📍 Northern California
🩺 Specialty: Family Practice NP (preferred) or PA
📅 Assignment Length: 3, 6, or 12+ months (long-term opportunities available)
💰 Compensation: $85/hour + travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Approximately 18 patients per day
- 4 hours/week of dedicated administrative/charting time (can be completed on-site or remotely)
Requirements
- Active California NP or PA license
- 2+ years of outpatient experience (FQHC experience preferred)
- Experience caring for both pediatric and adult patients
- Experience managing chronic pain
- Passion for serving an underserved patient population
- Certifications: BLS and PALS
Preferred Experience
- Adolescent and pediatric care
- Well-woman care
- Birth control management
- STD testing
- Pregnancy testing
- IUD insertion and removal
Advanced OB care, ultrasounds, and high-risk pregnancies are managed by the Women's Health Clinic.
Additional Details
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: Approximately 45 days
- One week of onboarding/orientation
- Interview expected within 10–14 days after name clearance
- One interview followed by an offer
