Job description
Location: Hoopa, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (15–20 patients/day); shared call phone with no call-backs
Salary: $345 - $365K per year, CA license only, will consider long term locum (6 months +).
About the Community: The Hoopa Valley is California’s largest reservation, home to ~3,494 residents (about 80.5% American Indian). The area is known for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and strong Tribal community. Providers who enjoy mountain living, outdoor activities, and close-knit communities tend to thrive here.
Clinical Environment:
- EHR: RPMS
- Services: Lab, X-ray, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health, Dental, Pediatrics, Emergency Services
- Procedures: Suturing, joint injections, skin tag removal, diabetic foot care, local blocks, and management of undisplaced fractures (based on comfort)
- No casting, major surgery, C-sections, or anesthesia
- Mix of scheduled visits, same-day slots, and walk-ins
- Must be willing to oversee APPs and assist with medication administration for ~50 patients
Job Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive primary care for adults (and children if FM-trained)
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Coordinate care with specialists and referral partners

• Relocation Assistance – KMC pays up to $5,000 for relocation

CME allowance – Providers can negotiate CME with an average of $3,500 annually
Licenses/Dues/Subscriptions – All licenses, dues, and subscriptions paid by KMC during length of contract
