Length of Assignment: 3–6 months (flexible)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8A–5P
Credentialing: 2–3 weeks
Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
Procedures: Bread-and-butter outpatient primary care, including acute sick visits, chronic disease management, and adult & pediatric care; no OB or procedures required
Setting: Health Center
EMR: RPMS (transitioning to NextGen)
Licence Needed: Michigan or IMLC accepted (MI license required for start)
Certifications: Board Certified in Family Medicine, DEA, BLS (ACLS preferred)
Details:
Outpatient primary care opportunity in a rural Health Center serving patients of all ages. Providers will manage a full spectrum of family medicine cases, including preventive care, acute illnesses, and chronic disease management in a collaborative clinical environment. Candidates with prior Indian Health Service (IHS), Tribal Health, or rural medicine experience are strongly preferred. Located in Northern Michigan, offering four-season outdoor recreation, scenic lakes and forests, and a relaxed lifestyle with easy access to hiking, fishing, boating, and skiing.
