Role Overview:
As a temporary Family Practice MD, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive primary care across busy LA clinics. You’ll have the flexibility to work part-time or full-time, with schedules planned well in advance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to floating between nearby clinics, and possess a passion for managing patients of all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics. Job Responsibilities
• Active California MD license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency completion)
• Proven experience in primary care, including women’s wellness, family planning, chronic disease management, and health screenings
• Ability to perform women’s health procedures such as Pap smears, IUD insertions/removals
• Comfortable managing a diverse patient demographic from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Flexibility to float between clinics within 10-15 minutes of each other and adapt to changing schedules
Skills
• Willingness to work scheduled hours Monday to Saturday, including 2 Saturdays per month
• Availability for immediate start (ASAP credentialing timeline of 2-3 weeks)
• No telehealth, no on-call, and no overtime required
• Clean background check and compliance with all credentialing prerequisites
• Must not have existing submissions or interviews with St. John’s locations (confirmation preferred)
