Family Medicine Physician – Locum Tenens Opportunity - Michigan

A leading regional health system in Northern Michigan is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician for outpatient primary care coverage.

Petoskey, Michigan

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
• Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: One Medical Assistant (MA) and one Patient Access Representative (PAR) assigned to each provider

Required Clinical Skills

• Adult Outpatient Care
• Pediatric General Outpatient Care
• Gynecology (Pelvic Exams and Pap Smears)
• EKG Interpretation

Additional Assignment Information

• Reverse invoicing process in place.
• Providers must utilize DocTime for clock-in and clock-out tracking.
• Medical staff fees will not be reimbursed.
• Lodging booked through third-party travel websites (e.g., Expedia, Kayak, etc.) will not be reimbursed.
• Lodging taxes are not reimbursable due to the facility's tax-exempt status.
• Reimbursable travel expenses must comply with the client’s Travel & Expense Policy and applicable limitations.

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Active Michigan medical license at time of submission
• Family Medicine experience
• Local to Michigan
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days
• Provider rates submitted with presentation
