A mission-driven healthcare organization in rural New England (Bradford, VT) is seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join a collaborative outpatient practice with Little Rivers Health Care. Address: 437 S Main St, Bradford, VT
Practice Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
Schedule: 4-day work week (35 clinical hours)
Patient Panel: 800 patients
Patient Throughput: ~2 patients/hour average
Support: 1:1 MA support + full clinical team
Technology: AI scribe + onsite lab & ultrasound
Call: Phone-only (~2 weeknights/month) + shared Saturday clinic (~4/year)
Procedures: Full-scope outpatient
Start Date: 6/29/2026
Compensation & Benefits (MD): $206K–$246K base, RVU bonus, sign-on & relocation assistance, loan repayment support, CME $2K + 40 hours, 100% employer-paid health insurance (single), 208+ hours PTO + holidays, short-term housing assistance.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage a patient panel of approximately 800 patients
• See approximately 2 patients per hour in a 4-day/week (35 clinical hours) schedule
• Conduct full-scope outpatient procedures
• Participate in phone-only call (~2 weeknights/month) and shared Saturday clinic (~4 per year)
• Utilize AI scribe technology and onsite lab & ultrasound resources
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (Primary Care)
• Active Vermont state license required
• Experience in full-scope outpatient primary care preferred
• Committed to rural and community-based medicine
Working Hours
Day shifts: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Phone-only call approximately 2 weeknights per month
Shared Saturday clinic approximately 4 times per year
