We are seeking a Primary Care Physician for a locum-to-perm opportunity in Lakewood, CO with Mile High Family Medicine (Alpine Physicians). This position is ideal for candidates seeking a full-time outpatient primary care role with a path to permanent placement. Local candidates preferred. Please see below for more information.
Facility: Mile High Family Medicine (Alpine Physicians)
Facility Type: Out-Patient Clinic
EMR: Elation
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Coverage: Scheduled + No Call
Patients per Day: ~20
Patient Age Group: Adults / Geriatrics
Contract Length: Locums to Perm (3 months) or Perm
Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and manage acute and chronic conditions
• See approximately 20 patients per day in an outpatient clinic setting
• Document patient encounters using Elation EMR
• Collaborate with clinic leadership and medical director
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Primary Care / Family Medicine / Internal Medicine
• Active Colorado state license required, or IMLC eligible
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient primary care experience preferred
• Elation EMR experience a plus
• Local candidates preferred; travel reimbursement considered
Working Hours
Full Time 5x8 shifts
Scheduled + No Call
Start Date: ASAP (5/25/2026)
