Job description
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician for a locum-to-perm opportunity in Hermitage, MO with Ozarks Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This is a 6-month locum tenens engagement with the intent to convert to a permanent position. Please see below for more information.
Facility Type: FQHC (Out-Patient Clinic)
EMR/Charting Software: MediTech Expanse
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Coverage: Scheduled + No Call
Avg. Daily Census: 18–20
Patient Age Group: All Ages (Mainly Adults, including Pediatrics & Adolescents)
Support Staff: NPs
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient FQHC setting
• Work collaboratively with NP support staff
• Document patient encounters using MediTech Expanse EMR
• Maintain an average daily census of 18–20 patients
• Adhere to FQHC standards and protocols
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Primary Care / Family Medicine / Internal Medicine
• Active Missouri state license required (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• DEA required
• CSR required
• Meditech charting experience required
• Minimum 1+ year of experience required (new graduates accepted)
• CV and Provider Questionnaire required with submission
• Credentialing timeframe: 60+ days minimum
Working Hours
Scheduled + No Call
6-month locum tenens contract (Locum to Perm)
