Job description
We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position in Houston, TX. This is an ongoing assignment at a community health center providing bread and butter primary care until a permanent provider is hired. Please see below for more information.
- Community Health Center
- On-site services: Dental, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Lab
- Patient Age Group: Pediatrics through Adults
- 25–30 patients per day
- EMR: Allscripts (Citrix access)
Job Responsibilities
Manage patients across pediatric and adult populations
Provide bread and butter primary care services
Coordinate care with on-site dental, pharmacy, radiology, and lab services
Qualifications
Active Texas license required
Active Texas DEA required
ACLS required
PALS required
Working Hours
8-hour day shifts
Scheduled, no call
13-week assignment (ongoing until permanent hire)
Start Date: 7/13/2026
