Position Overview
Seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join a Residency Program Core Faculty team. This role combines clinical practice and academic teaching, ideal for physicians passionate about graduate medical education (GME) and mentoring residents.

Schedule & Work Model
* Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Weekly structure:
* 2 clinic days
* 1 precepting day
* Dedicated administrative/GME time
* No required overnight call
* Optional participation in OB or inpatient coverage

Clinical & Academic Responsibilities
* Provide continuity care in outpatient clinic
* Precept and supervise Family Medicine residents
* Deliver didactic lectures and educational sessions
* Participate in curriculum development and program growth
* Support resident training in:
* Preventive care and chronic disease management
* Low-risk prenatal and postpartum care
* Inpatient medicine (optional involvement)

* 23 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 2 precepting rooms
* On-site lab

* MSK and handheld ultrasound
* Dermatoscopes, radio-frequency devices, NST
* Average 10–12 patients per half-day
* Common procedures:
* LARC placement/removal
* Joint injections (with/without ultrasound)
* Skin procedures, I&D, toenail removals
* Women’s health exams

Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Completion of Family Medicine residency
* Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABFM or AOBFM)
* Eligible for Georgia medical licensure or IMLC participation
* Strong interest in teaching and mentoring residents

Preferred Qualifications
* Prior GME or teaching experience (not required)
* Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
