Job description
Needed, a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered medical care in a rural northern New Hampshire community. This role focuses on delivering high-quality preventive, acute, and chronic care while fostering long-term patient relationships and improving community health outcomes. The physician will play a vital role in addressing the needs of an underserved population and promoting overall wellness through education and collaboration.

- Patient Population: All ages (Family Medicine) or adult patients (Internal Medicine)
- Schedule: No weekends or holidays; includes clinic call rotation
- Location: Northern New Hampshire (rural community setting)
Job Responsibilities
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring continuity of care and regular follow-ups
Deliver preventive care services such as immunizations, screenings, and wellness visits
Order and interpret diagnostic tests; communicate results and adjust care plans accordingly
Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists when necessary
Educate patients and families on disease prevention, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with organizational policies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical performance evaluations
Contribute to clinic call rotation schedule
Uphold professional standards consistent with medical staff bylaws and community expectations
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited U.S. residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Board certified or board eligible
Current ACLS and BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Holds a medical license in the state of New Hampshire, or eligibility for obtaining one
