Hiring a dedicated Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join their clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient panel within a supportive environment that prioritizes work-life balance and long-term professional growth. Three available locations-Freeport, Oceanside and Rosevelt.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive compensation structure with significant financial upside.
- Targeted Annual Earnings: $210,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year (Calculated at an hourly rate of $115.00 – $137.00).
- Performance Incentives: Eligibility for quarterly productivity bonuses and an annual quality incentive.
- Saturday Premium: An additional $200 bonus is paid for every Saturday morning session worked.
- Continuing Education: 5 days for CME annually plus a $1,500 reimbursement budget.
- Work-Life Balance: A standard 35-hour work week in a manageable clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive Family Medicine services to a diverse patient panel.
- Patient Volume: Maintain a consistent pace, averaging approximately 14 patients per day.
- Productivity: Ensure steady patient flow to meet clinical objectives and quarterly productivity incentives.
- Clinical Reporting: Collaborate with the Associate Medical Director for clinical guidance and performance reviews.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively alongside a dedicated support staff of RNs, MAs, and Practice Managers.
Schedule
- Total Hours: 35-hour work week.
- Daily Shift: Standard shifts are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (including a 1-hour lunch).
- Evening Commitment: One shift per week is an evening session (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
- Saturday Rotation: Half-day sessions (starting at 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM) approximately once every 4–6 weeks.
Requirements
- Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Certification: Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
- Experience: Prior experience as a practicing physician is preferred to balance the current clinical team.
- Technical Skills: Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) or similar EHR systems is highly preferred.
- Attributes: Strong transparency regarding performance goals and the ability to adapt to a community health environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in Spanish or Creole is a plus, though not required for all locations.
- Credentialing: Candidates currently enrolled with New York Medicaid are strongly preferred to accelerate the credentialing timeline.
