## Family Medicine Physician | Fosston, MN Northwestern Minnesota — "Where the Prairie Meets the Pine" Starting salary: $323,400, with a Starting Bonus of $150,000 ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent position (1.0 FTE) * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p * 36 patient contact hours (or 32 if doing inpatient) * Call: No call for clinic-only providers * EMR: Epic * J-1 and H-1B visa candidates accepted ## Practice Overview Seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician to partner with a dedicated team of Family Medicine physicians and advanced practice clinicians serving Fosston and the greater region: * Average 18–20 clinic patients per day * Average 1–2 procedures per day * Pre and post-natal care provided — deliveries managed through a shared care model with OB/GYN * Inpatient rounding optional — Critical Access Hospital with average census of 5–8 * Emergency Room shifts optional — volume of 8–12 patients per 24-hour shift * Clinic, Critical Access Hospital, and Nursing Home/Assisted Living all connected on one campus * Home base in Fosston with potential outreach to Oklee and Bagley clinics * On-site services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, dietitian, diabetes educator, behavioral health, home health, tobacco cessation, path/lab, radiology/imaging, and weight management * Outreach services include oncology, ENT, cardiology, orthopedics, pain, GYN, medicine, podiatry, general surgery/wound clinic, and urology — plus numerous telehealth specialty services ## Compensation & Benefits * Base compensation: $323,400 * Eligible for additional compensation including bonuses, quality incentives, and production-based compensation ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine * J-1 and H-1B visa candidates accepted * Seeking candidates able to tolerate a harsh winter environment ## About the Community – Fosston, Minnesota * Charming small town of approximately 2,000 located in the heart of northwestern Minnesota * Located 40 minutes west of Bemidji, 1 hour east of Grand Forks, and 3 hours from Winnipeg, Canada * Affordable housing and a top-rated school system * Excellent outdoor recreation and plenty of local and regional entertainment * Scenic setting where the prairie meets the pine * For more information visit www.fosston.com
