Facility:
This community health center is dedicated to providing comprehensive primary care services to families and individuals in the local community. The facility focuses on accessible healthcare delivery with a patient-centered approach and serves both pediatric and adult populations.
Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Family Medicine, Internal Medicine
Job Details:
• Provide primary care services to a mix of pediatric and adult patients
• Minimum requirement to see 18 patients per day (PPD)
• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Includes some chronic pain management responsibilities
• Chart closure required within 72 hours
• Board certification required (Board Eligible considered if within 5 years of residency)
• Active DEA license required before start date
• Active California medical license required
• BLS certification required
• Required immunizations include: Flu vaccine, TB status/X-ray (within 90 days), MMR titer or complete series, Hepatitis B titer or complete series, Varicella Zoster titer or complete series, and Tdap (within 10 years)
• Credentialing timeframe is typically 30-90 days
• 30-day notice required for ending assignments
• DO candidates will also be considered
• Well woman care and IUD insertion/removal preferred
• Pediatric care experience across all age groups preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
