Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner
Job Details:
• Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 18 patient encounters per day
• Provide care for a mixed population of pediatric and adult patients
• Must have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar healthcare setting
• Chart closure required within 72 hours of patient encounters
• PAs must obtain CA Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate
• NPs must have a Furnishing License with Schedule II authorization
• Active DEA license required before start date
• Must be licensed in California only
• Board certification required (Board Certification Eligible minimum)
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing process takes 30-90 days with decision typically made within 7-14 days
• Required immunizations include: Flu vaccine, TB status/X-ray (within 90 days), positive MMR titer or complete series, positive Hep B titer or complete series, positive Varicella Zoster titer or complete series, and Tdap (within 10 years)
• CVs must include month and date for all work experience with employment gaps explained
• 30-day notice required for ending assignments
• Additional facility location available in Fortuna, CA
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
