Family Medicine in MN
Northwest MN
40 minutes to Bemidji
1 hour to Grand Forks
3 hours to Winnipeg
Join a Hospital employed group in an established clinic of Family Medicine physicians and APP’s.
Details:
- Rural Medicine
- Full time - 36 patient contact hours, or 32 patient contact hours if also doing inpatient.
- Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, and Saturday Walk-In 9:30am-12:00pm
- Average Clinic Patients / day: 18-20
- Average Procedures / day: 1-2
- Team provides Pre and Post-natal care for 80-100 OB patients / year. Deliveries are managed thorough a shared care model with OB/GYNs.
- Inpatient Rounding: 50 bed Critical Access Hospital with average census of 8.
- Local Physician teams cover the daily rounding.
- Emergency Room: Volume 8-12 patients in a 24-hour shift.
- Coverage: weekdays, weekends, and holidays; 3-4 days / month.
- Back Up: Providing support to the ED Provider and are available to come in to assist if needed. Cover 8-10 days / month.
- Clinic, Critical Access Hospital and Nursing Home/Assisted Living are all connected on one campus
- EMR: Epic
