Exciting Locum Primary Care Physician opportunity in New Jersey for a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Family Medicine physician seeking a true outpatient-only setting with excellent work-life balance.
This position offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no call, no inpatient responsibilities, and no ED coverage. The physician will provide comprehensive adult outpatient care in a well-established primary care clinic using Cerner EMR.
Ideal for Family Medicine physicians who enjoy continuity of care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and occupational health evaluations in a structured clinic environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Perform preventive health screenings and wellness visits
• Interpret EKGs
• Conduct disability and occupational medicine exams
• Manage an average of 20 adult patients per day
• Document encounters in Cerner EMR
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as needed
Qualifications
• Active New Jersey Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• BLS Certification
• Experience in adult outpatient primary care
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation
• Experience with disability/occupational medicine exams preferred
• Recent NPDB self-query
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No Call
• No Inpatient Duties
