Job description
Seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician with OB fellowship training to help build and grow its Family Practice with OB services at the North Health Plaza clinic. This position offers excellent work-life balance, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to practice full-scope FP/OB including C-sections in a community-focused setting.
Job Responsibilities
Manage prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Perform C-sections
Provide outpatient clinic services and inpatient OB coverage
Participate in a predictable 1:4 call schedule
Collaborate with OB/GYN, APPs, hospitalists, and specialty teams
Utilize Cerner (hospital) and eClinicalWorks (clinic) EMR systems
Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on quality and safety
Qualifications
OB Fellowship-trained (completed prior to start)
Ability and willingness to perform C-sections
Active Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain
Clean malpractice history preferred
NPDB Self-Query report required
Working Hours
Clinic-based with inpatient OB responsibilities
Call schedule: 1:4
Credentialing timeframe: 45–90 days
