Job description
• Provide outpatient medical services including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing patient care within scope of licensure
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests
• Provide preventive, behavioral, and community health care
• Perform physical examinations and interpret test results
• Educate patients on disease management and prevention
• Coordinate referrals to subspecialists and inpatient services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Integrate care with behavioral health and wellness teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR
• Participate in quality improvement, peer reviews, and audits
• Supervise and teach mid-level providers and trainees as appropriate
• Participate in on-call rotation and team meetings
• Provide coverage for other clinicians when required
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted California medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Board Certification required
• Knowledge of family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and community health settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Bilingual preferred (Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, or Vietnamese)
