Academic Family Medicine | Outpatient + Resident Teaching | $200,000–$295,000

We are seeking a passionate Family Medicine Faculty Physician to provide high-quality patient care, teach and mentor residents, and contribute to the ongoing success of an established Family Medicine Residency Program.

This role blends meaningful clinical practice with academic engagement, resident supervision, and opportunities for scholarly activity—all within a collaborative environment that values education, community service, and innovation.

Position Overview

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (in-person)
Clinical Load: 3–4 half-day clinical sessions per week
Compensation: $200,000 – $295,000 annually
Setting: Outpatient Family Medicine + periodic inpatient attending

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in an academic family medicine clinic

  • Supervise, precept, and mentor residents in both outpatient and inpatient settings

  • Participate in 3–4 half-day clinic sessions weekly, including integrated resident supervision

  • Provide inpatient attending coverage for family medicine services multiple times per year

  • Perform and supervise full-scope family medicine procedures (including obstetrics if applicable)

  • Deliver resident teaching through didactics, case review, and curriculum development

  • Engage in scholarly work, QI initiatives, and program development

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical, academic, and accreditation standards

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

  • Active state medical license or ability to obtain one

  • Strong interest or experience in teaching, supervising, and mentoring residents

  • Comfort with full-scope family medicine; obstetrics experience highly valued

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Passion for community-focused care and diverse patient populations
