Family Medicine Physician
Position Summary
The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive, continuous medical care to patients of all ages in an outpatient and/or inpatient setting, depending on practice structure. This role focuses on preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and long-term patient relationships across the lifespan.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Perform patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations

Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions

Deliver preventive care services, including health screenings and immunizations

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Order, interpret, and document diagnostic tests and results

Perform routine office-based procedures within scope of practice

Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services as needed

Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and self-management

Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation

Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Practice Setting
-
Outpatient clinic, with optional inpatient or hospital rounding depending on practice model
-
May include call coverage or extended hours as required
Qualifications
-
MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
-
Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
-
Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the practicing state

DEA registration or eligibility
