- Outpatient-focused role (no inpatient rounding required for the core position; additional rounding opportunities may be available if desired)
- 35 clinical hours/week
- 1 late evening per week (up to 9 PM; later start that day)
- Light call with shared coverage (details discussed during process)
- Typical pace: ~2–3 patients/hour (approximately 17–20/day)
- Strong APP support: Physician Assistants handle the majority of urgent/walk-in needs and a large portion of call
- Athena (cloud-based) EMR with AI ambient scribe and AI-assisted workflow tools to reduce documentation burden
- Physician-led organization with growth/advancement potential (part of a stable network of multiple outpatient sites; partnership track may be available)
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain a patient panel with an emphasis on continuity and long-term relationships
Deliver preventive care and chronic disease management with a patient-centered approach
Collaborate closely with a supportive clinical and administrative team to ensure efficient office flow
Participate in shared call responsibilities per practice schedule
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine (Board Certified strongly preferred for the immediate need; 2026 graduates may be considered for future needs)
Eligible for New Jersey medical licensure
Patient-centered communication style and comfort working in a collaborative
Working Hours
One late night to 9 pm (that day would be 1-9 schedule)
Weekend/call is 1:8 rotation
