Required Skills:
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (ABMS or BOS)
- Valid medical license in Pennsylvania
- Prescriptive authority
- Ability to perform Women's Health exams (training provided if necessary)
- BLS certification through AHA or MTN
- Proven experience in outpatient primary care
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to pass a VA background check
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a VA or federal healthcare setting
- Familiarity with telehealth and care coordination
- Additional certifications in geriatrics, chronic disease management, or other relevant specialties
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of outpatient primary care experience
- Prior experience working with Veterans or in a government healthcare environment
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to undergo VA-specific training, including Women's Health exams
- Ability to respond swiftly to medical emergencies within the clinic
- Availability for full-time or part-time work, with flexibility for 20-30 hours per week if desired
