Opportunity:
Physician & Clinician - NP/PA
Job Details:
• Family Medicine NP/PA position with 1.0 FTE, full-time status (36 patient contact hours) • Work schedule: Monday-Friday from 8a-5p with flexible clinic hours • Telephone-only call rotation with occasional weekend coverage • Provide care for patients ranging from newborn to elderly (Family Medicine trained/certified preferred) • Manage 16-18 patients per day with minimal procedures • May require coverage of other outreach clinics (Frazee, Lake Park, Pelican Rapids, Mahnomen) • Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills • Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Emphasize health promotion and disease prevention in patient care • Join a team of 19 primary care providers, 1 internal medicine physician, 1 cardiology NP, and 1 IM/Peds NP • Must demonstrate high level of customer service skills • Education requirements: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited program • 3+ years of advanced practice experience preferred • Required licensure/certifications: Current state licensure as NP or PA, CPR certification, national certification in applicable area • Successful completion of credentialing process required prior to practice • May be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance • 401(k) plan with employer contributions • Professional development support through training and tuition reimbursement • Flexible scheduling, generous time off, and wellness resources
