Under the leadership of our Chief Medical Officer, the Family Medicine Staff Physician delivers comprehensive primary care services, emphasizing evidence-based treatment and compassionate patient communication. You’ll play a key role in patient care, clinic operations, and mentoring mid-level providers. This position is based in Chester, SC

Job Responsibilities
• Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and provide patient education.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and improve patient outcomes.
• Supervise and support nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
• Participate in call coverage, quality improvement, and health plan development.
• Maintain documentation and utilize EMR systems for accurate and timely charting.
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited medical school with completed internship and residency.
• Active South Carolina medical license.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field.
• Must meet NCFMC credentialing and privileging requirements.
• Experience in community health, rural medicine, or underserved populations is a plus.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
Working Hours
• North Central Family Medicine is closed on major holidays
• Some on call duties

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple clinical responsibilities.
• Comfortable in both independent and team-based care delivery
