Position Summary

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician to join our expanding team in Athens, GA.

This full-time role offers a 4.5-day workweek with outpatient-only responsibilities. The schedule includes approximately 2.5 days per week in Athens and 2 days per week in Royston . The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care in a supportive, team-oriented clinical environment.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients across all age groups.

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions.

  • Conduct preventive screenings, annual wellness visits, and routine health maintenance exams.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient engagement programs.

  • Promote an environment of safety, respect, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure & Certification:

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

    • Eligible for Georgia medical licensure

  • Experience: Outpatient experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
