The system includes Graduate Medical Education Program, which provides residency training in Family Medicine and fosters a strong academic environment for physician development.
Opportunity:
Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join the Core Faculty team.
This full-time faculty opportunity offers the chance to teach, mentor, and shape the next generation of Family Medicine physicians while maintaining clinical practice in a collegial, innovative, and supportive setting.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Average of 2 clinic days per week

1 precepting day per week

Dedicated administrative and educational time for GME responsibilities

Call: No overnight call required (optional OB or inpatient adult medicine coverage available)

Duties:
-
Provide full-spectrum outpatient family medicine, including continuity care
-
Teach and supervise residents in clinic, didactics, and scholarly activities
-
Participate in curriculum development, faculty meetings, and residency improvement initiatives

Opportunity to teach and supervise residents in inpatient care and low-risk obstetrics

Clinic Facility: Family Medicine Clinic, located in the state-of-the-art 39,000 sq. ft. Medical Education Center, featuring 23 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms, and modern technology including handheld and MSK ultrasound units.

Procedures: LARC insertion/removal, Pap smears, joint injections (with or without ultrasound), skin procedures, I&D, toenail removals, and cervical checks.
Candidate Requirements:

M.D. or D.O. degree
-
Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABFM or AOBFP
-
Georgia Medical License (or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)

Passion for medical education and resident supervision

Strong commitment to full-spectrum Family Medicine, including low-risk OB and inpatient opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Fellowship training or prior academic experience (preferred but not required)
