This clinic is beautifully situated overlooking Lake Superior and features a collaborative healthcare environment focused on developing a high-quality, efficient service model. The facility promotes a culture of patient-centeredness and staff resilience, with onsite retail pharmacy, lab, and radiology services.
Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Family Practice
Job Details:
• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention
• Work with a collaborative team consisting of 7 Physicians, 3 Advanced Practice Providers, and additional staff including PharmD, RNs, Clinical Assistants, Behavioral Health, Addiction Medicine, and a Community Health Worker
• Typical schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Manage approximately 12-15 patients per day
• Ideal candidate will have Family Practice and Internal Medicine experience
• Must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
• Maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota
• Current BLS certification required
• National certification in applicable area required
• Demonstrate high level of customer service skills to establish positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
