Located at the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers, this western Kentucky city provides a relaxed lifestyle with easy access to outdoor recreation while maintaining a strong sense of community.
Facility:
This position is with a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans through Veterans Evaluation Services (VES). The work involves performing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments either at the provider's own office location or at designated facilities within a 50-mile radius of Paducah.

Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans • Position requires 2 days per week in the Paducah area (50-mile radius required) • One-time non-treatment CP exams + separation health assessments • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing • No prescribing or treatment required • Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products allowed) • Must have active and unrestricted full Kentucky medical license • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Acceptable specialties include: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension • Regular administrative follow-up work required (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics) • One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams • Local candidates only, travel included in rates • Cannot be active military duty, in the reserves, or actively employed at the VA
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
