This established government contractor helps our nation's Veterans by providing evaluation services. They operate through both their own locations and provider offices across Arizona, offering flexibility and serving a vital role in veteran healthcare assessment.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - General Medicine
Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams + Separation Health Assessments for veterans • Multiple locations available throughout Arizona including Flagstaff, Sierra Vista, Tuba City/Chinle, Nogales, Safford, and Payson • Must live within specified radius of service location (ranges from 30-50 miles depending on location) • PRN basis with ongoing needs • Flexible schedule options: half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments • Primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing • No prescribing or treatment involved • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Suitable for providers with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products allowed) • Must have active and unrestricted full Arizona license • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Follow-up administrative work required (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics) • Not open to active military duty personnel, those in reserves, or those actively employed at the VA
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
