Family Medicine Opportunity - Established Private Practice
Location: Columbus, NE - Omaha 80m
Setting: Outpatient Family Practice + Urgent Care
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position, Private Practice
Position Highlights
* Full-spectrum outpatient family medicine (excluding OB)
* See patients of all ages, from infants to seniors
* Established practice with nearly 70 years of service to the community
* Practice locations include Medical Center and Urgent Care
* Flexibility to work between both sites, including weekends
* Clinic hours:
* Medical Center: M-F, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
* Urgent Care: M-Sat, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Sun 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Supportive work environment with experienced staff and leadership
Clinical Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive, evidence-based medical care
* Manage acute and chronic conditions across all age groups
* Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope
* Prescribe medications and administer immunizations
* Coordinate care with specialists and community providers
* Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
* Participate in on-call rotation and quality improvement initiatives

Ideal Candidate
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (MD or DO)
* Nebraska medical license or eligibility to obtain
* DEA certification
