Family Medicine Physician – Walk-In Clinic – Locums – North Dakota

Start Date: October/November 2025

Duration: 6 months (high likelihood of extension)

Schedule: 14 on / 14 off OR 7 on / 7 off - Flexible (8 hour shifts or 6 hour shifts)

Clinic Hours: M-F 8AM - 8:30PM, Sat/Sun 8AM - 5:30PM

Volume: ~25 pts/day weekdays; 30-40 weekends

Patients: All ages – Peds, Adults, Geriatrics

Cases: Flu, allergies, sports injuries, urgent care procedures (sutures, splints, infections)

EMR: Epic

Support: Full clinical staff, 2–3 providers on-site

Compensation: $150 - 170/Hour with OT after 40 hrs/week

Travel/Lodging: Fully covered; stipend available

Holidays: No holiday coverage
Job Responsibilities
Provide care in an urgent care clinic, handling cases such as flu, allergies, sports injuries, emergency cases (sutures and splints), infections, and bronchitis.
Conduct examinations with access to on-site lab and x-ray facilities; CT available off-site.
Manage a patient load of approximately 25 patients per day, with increased volume on weekends
Serve patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Support and Environment:
Work alongside a full clinic staff with 2 to 3 physicians always present and MA/RN's.
Qualifications
Certs: ABFM & DEA required; BLS required
Clean NPDB
Working Hours
Saturday/Sunday, 6 hour shifts.
OT after 40 hours/week.
Clinic Hours: M-F 8AM - 8:30PM, Sat/Sun 8AM - 5:30PM
Skills
Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.
Travel expenses are fully reimbursed, with potential lodging stipend.
This position is available due to a retirement, with a start date in October for a 6-month assignment.
