Required Skills:
  • Valid Optometrist License and Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Strong knowledge of ocular health, vision correction, and disease management
  • Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in FQHC or similar community clinics
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Drive-in candidate availability for ease of patient access
  • Bilingual abilities beyond Spanish

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution
  • Proven track record of reliable, high-quality patient care in clinical settings
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work on Wednesdays and Fridays, with potential for additional hours at other locations
  • Credentialing process may take 60-90 days
  • Local candidates preferred; traveling providers must self-arrange travel and accommodations
  • Employment type: Full-time, 8-hour daytime shifts (09:00 - 17:00)
  • Hourly pay rate of $119.35
