Optometrist Opportunity in Springfield, VT
Full-time outpatient optometry position serving a diverse patient population
Responsible for comprehensive vision care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and overall case management
Emphasis on teamwork, integrated care, and continuous quality improvement
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic care through holistic, patient-centered assessments and treatment plans
Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and vision conditions using evidence-based protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Utilize data and clinical guidelines to improve care delivery and support best practices
Contribute to professional development through mentoring, clinical guidance, and continuous learning
Requirements:
Doctor of Optometry (OD)
Active Vermont optometry license or eligibility
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to care for age-diverse patient populations and adapt practices accordingly
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $140,000
