Primary Care Physician - Locums - Columbus OH

We’re actively recruiting a dedicated Primary Care Locums Physician for a full-time, on-site position at a well-established outpatient clinic in Columbus, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to serve a complex, underserved adult population in a mission-driven, patient-centered setting.

Position Overview:

• Start Date: Must be available within 30 days

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

• Setting: 100% Outpatient Primary Care

• Patient Volume: 8–10 patients/day; rotates to cover same-day clinic

• Call: Shared weekly rotation; low volume (6–8 calls/week); phone only, no in-person or hospital/SNF rounding

Patient Population:

• Adults 16+, primarily underserved Medicaid population

• High acuity: multiple comorbidities, addiction, and behavioral health conditions

• Supportive team-based environment focused on outcomes

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Ohio Medical License (unrestricted and current)

• DEA License and comfort prescribing opioids

• Minimum 2 years full-time experience post-residency as a board-certified physician (telehealth/residency does not qualify)

• Experience with addiction and behavioral health strongly preferred

• FQHC or Community Health Center background preferred
