Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join a respected and growing outpatient primary care team in Shreveport, LA. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a patient-centered, team-based environment within a nationally recognized health system. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality care and thrive in a collaborative setting.
Job Responsibilities
See 18–22 patients per day across a full spectrum of chronic and acute care
Deliver preventive care and wellness education
Collaborate with on-site staff and support services (including lab and imaging)
Utilize Epic EMR for efficient documentation and patient management
Participate in clinic meetings, quality initiatives, and ongoing improvement processes
Qualifications
Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure
Commitment to patient-centered care and team-based practice
New graduates and experienced physicians welcome
Working Hours
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Setting: 100% Outpatient — no inpatient duties required
Call: Minimal to none
Skills
Strong clinical acumen across the primary care spectrum
Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
Focused on preventive care and chronic disease management
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
